ACHAP

Registered in 2000, ACHAP is a not for profit health development organization, with strong implementation and technical assistance capacity. ACHAP is an African born organization, headquartered in Botswana and expanding its activities throughout Africa, with an initial focus on Southern Africa. ACHAP’s activities began in 2001, as the lead partner organization supporting the Government of Botswana in developing the MASA ARV treatment program, the first public treatment program on the continent. ACHAP successfully transitioned MASA to government hands in 2010. Since then, ACHAP has expanded its implementation activities to cover a broad range of health and development activities throughout the African region with a focus on innovative and sustainable solutions.
