Summary Description of your Organization

We are a Non-Political, Non-Profitable and Non-Governmental Organization committed to ensure that communities are adequately informed on health and human rights related issues and also gain access to services, reduce the impact of TB/HIV, Malaria, address reproductive health issues and promote good governance while empowering the most vulnerable groups. We were known as Destiny Resource Center (DRC) since 2006 and registered with the Kaduna State Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2009 until our formal registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under a new name, AYUNUKU HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER (AHEC), with effect from 23 December, 2013. This constitutes the reason for the change of name from Destiny Resource Center (DRC) to AYUNUKU HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER (AHEC). However, all documents bearing Destiny Resource Center’s name and logo are still valid until otherwise stated by the management.
