Civil Society for the Eradication of Tuberculosis in Nigeria

TBNETWORK is the National Coordinating body of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) located in states, LGAs and communities in Nigeria. The Network came into being when CSOs and other stakeholders working on TB in Nigeria met in March 2009, with the inspiration of the ENHANSE Country Office, to set up an umbrella body with the responsibility of coordinating members’ activities as a body. The Network is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, and has its office in the nation’s capital, Abuja, and has an elected National Coordinator to oversee the running of the National Office and Projects implementation. It has a 10-member Board of Trustees and a 12-member National Steering Committee drawn from the 6 zones of Nigeria.
