Future Resilience and Development Foundation

Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) with No CAC/IT/NO/139393 in accordance with the Nigerian Law in 2019. The organization was set up by group of passionate youths that are concerned about community development with the sole aim and objective to promote social service through community development projects that ensure meaningful access to services by the people in need by ensuring no one is left behind in line with the commitment with DEIA. FRAD envision a sustainable future where everyone can access development, a world no one is left behind, we work with the mission to build the resilience of vulnerable populations using locally available solutions that ensure participation and bring meaningful development leaving no one behind. This Mission and Vision guides us to build the Resilience of vulnerable population especially women and children. We believe in ensuring women and girls are safer in their homes and communities with equal access to protection services.
FRAD has its Head office in Northeast House No 55, Mandau Street, Bulumkutu Abuja, Maiduguri Borno state, Nigeria. And other field offices in Zamfara (Northwest) and Yobe in Northeast Nigeria. We are a renowned National NGO responding to the humanitarian and development needs in North-east and North-west Nigeria. In our Intervention, we work with various stakeholders to find local solutions that are culturally appropriate to strengthen community Resilience and their capacities to deal with emerging threats that limit the exploits and development of every community member.
Our thematic areas cut across Health/Nutrition, Reproductive health, Education, and Protection while mainstreaming GBV, Livelihood, and climate change in those three thematic areas to ensure comprehensive services is provided to the people we serve.
FRAD has in 2023 Managed grants of value $500,000 in its response with funding from United Nations office for coordination of Humanitarian affairs (NHF) and Save the children International through locally led Humanitarian Response.
