Summary Description of your Organization
IDYDC is a local non-governmental organization, registered in 1994, working in all 4 Districts of Iringa region in Tanzania. Currently IDYDC runs 6 programs in the region. These projects are: Health program with different projects as; USAID Kizazi Kipya (Children living and working in street), USAID Boresga Afya Project (Working with PLHIV), USAID Tulonge Afya Project (SBCC Program for helath issues) , ZINDUKA (Education for HIV & Malaria for youth 10-13yrs), Football for Hope (Education for HIV, peace & Gender for youth 14-17yrs) and Alcohol & drug Abuse; Orphans and Vulnerable Children rehabilitation(OVC/MVC) program, Microfinance program, Environmental program (Water ,Hygiene and sanitation Project), VTC Program and Nuru FM Community Radio. IDYDC works in a way that all these programs are interlinking in one way or another during implementation, Radio program and microfinance programs plays a vital role in this linkages.
