Our Lady of Perpetual Help Initiative

Our Organization, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Initiative (OLPHI) have over the years worked to ensure the rights of women are protected through series of human rights training and Capacity building initiatives ranging from Health Management as well as Psychosocial support, counseling, Mediation and strategic Referrals of VAWGs to Women, Peace and Security Network (WPSN) Safe Space as an organisational member. WPSN is a loose network of women focused groups, individuals, MDA’s male champions and community members, working to ensure women’s rights are protected in Rivers State. The network is anchored by Gender And Development Action (GADA) and supported by the Nigerian Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP). We also work with West Africa Network on Peace building(WANEP) and Partners for Peace(P4P) Network in the Niger Delta supported by Foundation for Partnership Initiative in the Niger Delta(PIND). We work with Child Protection Network & School Management Boards on Violence Against Children. We collaborate and work with Government Agencies in all our programs. We work with Women Advocate for Vaccine Access(WAVA) and Civil Society on Malaria, Immunisation & Nutrition (ACOMIN) on immunisation, malaria, nutrition. Civil Society on Eradication of Cancer in Nigeria(CiSCANEN); CiSHAN - Civil Society on HIV and AIDS. We work in Sexual Reproductive Health Rights with Coalition of Eastern NGOs and CIRDDOC; TAP - transparency, accountability and participation; Vitamin Angels in Distribution of Vitamin A, Albendazole & Micro Nutrients for Pregnant & Lactating Mothers; Community Campaign on Cancer Control with Lift Above Poverty Organisation(LAPO); Health, Gender and Environment on Health of Women and Children; Food security and soverignty
