People awareness on Health Foundation in Nigeria (PAHFIN) formerly called People Against HIV/AIDS in The Barracks (PAHAB) was established on July 3, 2002 and subsequently registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (Federal Republic of Nigeria) on February 24, 2006. PAHAB name was changed to PAHFIN on 12th of February, 2018. The organization was initially established to provide care and support services to PLWHAs within the Barracks, though this has expanded to provide other public health services. PAHFIN provides HIV Testing Services (HTS), Prevention of Mother-To-Child Transmission (PMTCT), Community TB Care, Capacity Building, Comprehensive social services to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC), awareness on Cancer, Hepatitis, Adolescent programs, high Risk population, Community Health programs and Gender related issues.
